Gateway to Eden
The following is the synopsis from the back cover. If you haven't read book two you should stop here.
The headlines all say the same thing; Jackson Williams was killed in an accident so brutal that not even his remains could be found. Quinn thinks she knows the truth; Jack is still alive. The message in the antique bottle, apparently sent by Jack himself through the depths of time confirms her theory. Even though she knows that time travel isn’t possible she can’t help but hope that the Great Mother has intervened somehow. In the meantime, Lilly remains in a coma and the doctors have no explanation for it, she is otherwise in perfect health. Lucy, Codey and Pierce are busy searching for the Guardians of Eden with the Darkness in pursuit. The Watchers decide to make a public appearance and make a deal with Quinn in hopes of defeating the Darkness. The question remains, will they be able to find the Guardians in time and open the Gateway to Eden before it’s too late? It all hinges on the actions of a dog, a horse and a little girl.
